 ABOUT THE BAKERSFIELD BULLDOGS

The Bakersfield Bulldog baseball team was formed in the Fall of 2007 to prepare a U12 team to compete at Cooperstown Dreamspark in Cooperstown, New York in summer 2008. The Cooperstown tournament was a trip of a lifetime for our 12 year old baseball players and families.  It was made even more memorable by a Bulldog top ten finish among the fierce national competition gathered there.   

With the Cooperstown goal behind them, the Bulldogs are now competing as a team of 13 year-olds.  Bigger, stronger and smarter this year, the 'Dogs once again set their sights forward as they prepare to compete at the
Triple Crown 2009 SLUMPBUSTER tournament in Omaha, Neb. June 2009.
